Empanadas (roughly translates into “wrap in bread”) or the smaller more bite size version of empanadillas can be found all over South America and there are many versions of this delicioso street snack. They have many different fillings, chicken, beef and yes even pizza! Some are fried, some are baked. Some are made using wheat flour, some with corn(maize) flour. One thing’s for sure though and that is they are ALL a pocket of amazing tasty goodness.
